Shipwreck Beach Photoshoot - Peter Iredale Shipwreck, Oregon Coast

This beach is famous for this shipwreck pictured above. This is one of my favorite beaches I’ve been to yet in Oregon. You can visit this beach at the Fort Stevens State Park. It’s about 20 minutes from Astoria, so if you’re ever in Astoria, this would be a great place to stop by! This beach was beautiful because of the wavy sand, the unique backdrop of a shipwreck, of course, and grassy sand dunes that surround the beach. I offer all the photos on this blog post as prints you can buy. You can contact me on my website if you’d like to purchase any!

Here you can see the sand dunes that surround the beach. I love anywhere with sand dunes because they’re usually easy to climb to get some really cool pictures.

It was super windy and bright that day, but it made for a really cute dreamy aesthetic.

I definitely want to go back to this beach and maybe do a mermaid or other fantastical-themed photoshoot. This location would be so magical for that! If any of you wants to do one like that, please reach out! Or if you do one yourself, I’d love to see what you did with it!
