A lovely session from January. Broderick, Ricki, and I spent it strolling around Hug Point Beach, exploring the lengths of the shoreline. We came across this beautiful waterfall that ran into the ocean and black rock covered in algae that gave us an otherworldly-looking background. Hug Point was an amazing location that made for diverse aesthetics and backgrounds. I would definitely recommend this location if you’re wanting an ethereal, mesmerizing place that gives you many options for a single session.

Above, is the rough, dark rock I mentioned that was covered in algae and barnacles. This photograph is so satisfying to me. They’re outfits go so well with this location. The contrasting neutrals on the dark, moody, green and brown background is very eye-pleasing.

This photo!!! This beautiful, cinematic light that was shining in this moment was so perfect. The perspective combined with the light almost makes it look surreal.

In the background, you can see the waterfall that runs into the ocean. And the reflection of the landscape and Broderick and Ricki on the beach is so calming and mesmerizing. This beach truly gave us everything!
